The Toronto Blue Jays spring officially begins today in Dunedin, Florida with their first contest beginning at 1:05pm EST against the American League Central’s Detroit Tigers.
The Jays will send Ricky Romero to the mound for a hopefully productive two innings of work.
The Jays plan on using left hander Dana Eveland and right hander Josh Roenicke in the game as well, with possible appearances from Willie Collazo, Daniel Farquhar, Merkin Valdez, Zech Zinicola & Zach Stewart.
The Jays plan to send out a line-up similar to the one that manager Cito Gaston has planned for Opening Day.
Jose Bautista will lead off for the Jays, with Aaron Hill & Adam Lind hitting in their respective second and third spots, similar to last season.
Vernon Wells will bat cleanup with Lyle Overbay hitting fifth. Newly acquired starting catcher John Buck will hit in the six hole, followed by Jeremy Reed, Alex Gonzalez & Travis Snider respectively.
A notable exception from the line-up is projected starting third baseman Edwin Encarnacion who will sit this one out with Bautista getting the start at third.
As it currently stands the infield will feature Overbay at first, Hill at second, Gonzalez at short, Bautista at third with Romero & Buck as your battery for the day.
The outfield trio will feature Reed in right with Wells manning his prototypical spot in centre and Snider in left.

Expect the start to go to Marc Rzepczynski with Brett Cecil to follow.
