More than a month after losing out on the bidding war for Cuban fire baller Aroldis Chapman the Toronto Blue Jays seems to be making moves in acquiring more international talent from the Cuban baseball depths. The Jays are interested in acquiring 25 year old Cuban defector Jose Julio Ruiz who is now classified as a free agent. Ruiz defected from Cuba last season after playing in 52 games for a team in the National Series in Cuba; hitting .305 with 5HR.
