The Toronto Blue Jays have offically sent pitcher Roy Halladay to the Phildelphia Phillies in a four team trade also including the Seattle Mariners & Oakland Athletics.
The Jays sent Halladay & cash considerations, projected as $6 million to the Phillies for prospects Kyle Drabek, Michael Taylor & Travis d’Arnaud, than flipped Taylor to the Oakland Athletics for third baseman Brett Wallace.
The Phillies than sent Cliff Lee to the Seattle Mariners for prospects Phillippe Aumont, Tyson Gillies & Juan RamirezĀ in what was worked out between theĀ four teams over the past weeks that included the Winter Meetings.
Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos will be comment on the trade on the Blue Jays official website @ 4:00pm EST today.
