The Blue Jays have called up three more players to the Major League roster today.
The Jays selected the contract of catcher/first baseman Kyle Phillips, while recalling right-hander Jeremy Accardo and left-hander David Purcey from Triple-A Las Vegas.
Phillips has appeared in 76 games for the Las Vegas 51s this season, batting .300 with eight home runs and 29 RBIs.
This is Phillips’ first callup to the big leagues.

Accardo, who is very familiar to Toronto fans comes up to the squad yet again.
Accardo has made 27 relief appearances for Las Vegas this season, going 2-1 with a 3.00 ERA and 13 saves in 30 innings.
For the Blue Jays, Accardo has posted a 2.50 ERA in 19 games with an 0-0 record, while striking out 14 and walking 11.

Purcey, the number three starter in the Blue Jays rotation at the beginning of the season has struggled mightily this season.
Purcey went0-2 with a 7.01 ERA in five starts for Toroto.
In the Minors, Purcey went 9-6 with a 4.46 ERA in 24 starts.
