The Toronto Blue Jays have been very active this offseason in trying to improve the team in any possible scenario.
The Jays continued the offseason overhaul today acquiring left-handed pitcher Dana Eveland form the Oakland Athletics for cash considerations.
The 26 year old Eveland spent last season with the Athletics, appearing in 13 games, which included nine starts.
Eveland spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Sacramento, where he went 8-6 with a 4.94 earned run average over 21 starts.
Throughout the 2009 season with the A’s, Eveland went 2-4 with a 7.16 ERA over 44 innings.
