The Toronto Blue Jays rebounded from two straight spring losses and a cancelled game yesterday to defeat the Atlanta Braves 3-0 today.
Blue Jays starter Ricky Romero continued his impressive spring in hopes of becoming Toronto’s Opening Day starter by picking up the win, pitching four shutout innings, allowing two hits and striking out one. Romero did get himself into some trouble by walking four, but recovered well and kept the Braves off the board.
Dana Eveland also continued to pitch well in spring, pitching three solid innings, allowing two hits and striking out four. Eveland has not allowed a run in [...]
